True to its title, Scrape is built by applying and scraping away acrylic, mixed with unconventional materials like concrete for thicker texture, with none other than a palette knife. Concrete is both a popular building ingredient and a material found in nature, preserving qualities of gravel and sand. Jacqueline's Her monochromatic palette brings out even the slightest alternations in depth, ever-so-subtly sunken and elevated parts confounded with the shadows they create.
