    Cole Douglas

    Cole Douglas

Born in Columbia, South Carolina / Works in San Diego, CA

Cole is an engineer-turned-artist who juxtaposes the Black experience and nature to investigate and understand how his community can heal in spite of existential threats and dangerous generational cycles. After graduating Dartmouth College with a mechanical engineering degree, Cole sought art as a mode of healing and connection for himself and his community. Through his large-scale abstract works, he utilizes varied color, form, and textures to create stimulating abstract works that his community can draw healing and inspiration from.
