Claudia Robles-Gil, a rising artist from Mexico City, draws from her rich multicultural experiences growing up between Mexico and the United States, to create vibrant, soulful portals to human experience. In her work, she explores themes of personal identity, spirituality and the interconnectedness of humanity and nature.

Claudia received her B.S. in Psychology from Tufts University in 2018 while attending the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and graduated with the highest distinctions. In 2021, Claudia relocated from Boston to New York City to pursue her artistic career. Most recently, her work has been exhibited at High Line Nine Galleries in Chelsea, NYC; Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Collective in Brooklyn, NY; Boston City Hall in Boston, MA; and featured in British Vogue and Vanity Fair UK.

I am a Mexican artist living in NYC who creates soulful portals to nature and to my human experience. Through oil painting, I use richly saturated color and bold, dynamic brushwork to capture the depth and vibrancy of my encounters with the world around me. My Mexican heritage has imbued in me a deep reverence for nature and an instinctive fluency in the language of color. My work is a reflection of this heritage: everything I put on canvas is vibrant, deeply infused with color, reminiscent of Mexico’s happy spirit and closeness with Earth. While my primary focus lies on both experiencing and capturing the incredible energy and beauty of nature, I also experiment with self-portraits and mystical subject matter as a means of personal and spiritual introspection. By sharing my art with others, I hope to inspire a profound awareness and appreciation for the rich, complex worlds that exist both around us and within us.
