BIO
Kimmy Quilin with her choppy bob haircut and a living room shrouded in warm clay colors, could be her own indie movie heroine. Underlying Kimmy’s study of colors and forms, whether in expressionistic strokes or recent minimalism, is a love and attention to things around her.
Kimmy Quillin is a Brooklyn-based painter whose work can be seen on the walls of Good Move as well as in Domino Magazine, West Elm and at Uprise Art. In addition to presenting her solo show Many Moons at Chinatown Soup in November 2019 she is looking forward to showing at Philadelphia gallery Spite Haus from December 14th to January 11th and participating in the Pocoapoco residency in Oaxaca, Mexico in February 2020.
